The quick-witted, shoe-obsessed Manolo, who blogs in what reads like the voice of a deposed Italian royal (his origins remain a mystery) gives shoe lovers around the world a reason to spend more time in front of their computers. Manolo offers his opinions about which shoes are hot ("Many of the shoes from the other Manolo, the Maestro Manolo Blahnik, they have the understated, simple beauty that humble the Manolo the Shoeblogger") and which are not ("It is no secret that, the Manolo, he despises the Birkenstocks. These shoes, they are ugly.") His taste is impeccable and he often directs his readers to designer shoes at deeply discounted prices. Why does he do it? "What could be better than to devote the life to the shoes?" We couldn't agree more.
