According to David Babaii, a celebrity hairstylist who’s worked with Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, Kate Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker (just to name a few), less is best. "That is my motto,” he explains. “Too often we struggle with our hair to get it to do what it’s not meant to do. It’s not flattering to any woman if her hair is forced into an unnatural state.”
Although Babaii beautifies women for a living, he suggests taking a step back. “From runways to magazine covers, it’s becoming more and more about the person and what’s good for the planet, rather than focusing on your hair,” he explains. “We need to save time for the important things in life, such as walking your dog, volunteering at a shelter or spending time with loved ones. Doing these things are good for your soul, which will make you look and feel fabulous.”
