Wendy Toth, a New York-based lifestyles editor, is addicted to eBay for its accessory listings. “I’m mainly drawn to bid because I can't stand to see another woman with the same bag or shoes as me, and eBay is filled with one-of-a-kind finds,” she says.

Wendy’s addiction even kept her from a big dance party one Saturday night. “I stayed home to bid on a vintage black leather Coach bag with a long strap and side buckles,” she recalls. “The auction ended at 11:30 p.m.—it turned into a bidding war and I won! It's now my cherished go-to bag and comes with me to every party.”
