What sort of crazy segregation is this theory based on? As a platinum blonde with a bikini line as bare as a baby's bottom, I was determined to tear this myth off at the root. The experts agree. "Although gray hair holds no pigment, which makes it impossible to laser, saying light or blonde hair is impossible is clearly a myth," says Morgan, a cosmetic laser specialist and founder of Phoenix Rising Laser in New York City. He adds that blondes undergoing laser treatments should be comfortable with a 70 to 90 percent loss. Morgan says his high level of hair loss and is achieved with both a laser at varying settings and a hand piece suited for fine light hair.
