Muted, neutral colors are the best tone in an office setting. "A woman looks 'done,' but it's not too much for the daytime," says Lo Conte. In other words, she’s approachable and professional.

Pucker up pointer: Women young and old can pull off this color, indefinitely. Fair, medium and dark skin tones can all wear muted pinks since there are so many different shades included in this color family.
