Summer is the time when you expose your skin, wear bright colors and don silky fabrics. It's also the time of year when you think as much about the antiperspirant you use as the shoes you choose. And for good reason. Who wants the telltale underarm patches that signify a bad antiperspirant? We asked a few heavy sweaters to road test some popular antiperspirants. Here's what they said.

Dove Invisible Solid, Radiant Silk

by Aarti Sanan

Claim: "Provides unbeatable wetness and odor protection, best for underarm skin as it is least irritating, cares for recently shaved skin as it contains moisturizing lotion."
Tester says: This antiperspirant is as gentle as it claims, and I love the soft clean scent. Most antiperspirants have harsh, overwhelming fragrances. Fortunately, I'm not prone to heavy perspiration and even on a really hot day, I did not require any reapplication. The best feature about this "solid" stick is that they really mean it when they say it's "invisible." My clothes were completely stain-free. I do love wearing sleeveless outfits, which means I shave under my arms every day. That usually means lots of stinging with my old deodorant stick. With Dove, I can stay dry minus the painful application. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who's looking for a mild, everyday antiperspirant that really works!
