We love our celebrities, and we love beautiful hair, so we've got to love our celebrity hairstylists! Were they born this way? Only they know for sure, but we'll happily follow their lead. Here we learn what's au courant for fall from three of the best: Frederic Fekkai, Sally Hershberger and Tippi Shorter, and try on these styles yourself.

Frederic Fekkai who has coiffed the likes of: Ashley Judd, Debra Messing, Jessica Biel, Sandra Bullock, and Barbra Streisand, comes from the less-is-more school. He believes hair should be simple to wear and simple to take care of. "Your stylist should be doing all the work for you," he says. He's thrilled to see a more natural texture coming back to hair. Three fall looks he loves:

• A Lift at the Crown
  Frederic likes just a little lift at the crown to enhance volume, which you can do by applying mousse directly to the roots, massaging it in and finger styling.
  
• Cascading Waves
  The look of soft, cascading waves is achieved by using a medium-size curling iron along with a wave-enhancing spray. Concentrate the bulk of the waves to the lower half of the head, just below the jaw.
  
• Side-Swept Bangs
  Frederic also loves the look of longish, side-swept bangs. For bangs to lie well, a good cut with graduated long layers is needed, after which you should be able to finger comb the bangs in place.
