Actress Ellen Pompeo has won many a heart as Dr. Meredith Grey on ABC's hit medical drama Grey's Anatomy. With her congenial smile and unpretentious air, she really is one of TV's most fresh, believable actors. Here she is in all her unpretentious glory, sporting full eyebrows, subtly shiny lips, with the slightest glimmer of coppery pearl twinkling to enhance her eyes. Makeup artist Deborah Grayson tells us how to get her look.
Step 1: Begin by applying a light oil-free moisturizer to the entire face and neck.
Step 2: Use fingertips to apply an oil-free, flesh-colored foundation — start at the center of your face and blend outward. For a gorgeous sheer finish, blend for a second time with a damp makeup sponge.
Step 3: Using a hard-bristled eyebrow brush, firmly brush through brows from roots to end. This will prep brows for eyebrow shadow.
Step 4: Use an extra-firm, slanted shadow brush with blonde brow shadow to fill in any sparse areas of the eyebrow.
Step 5: Hold brows in place by applying clear brow pomade — especially effective for unruly brows.
